TINTING

CONTRAINDICATIONS
We cannot perform a tint if: You have had an allergic reaction to any form of tint (including hair dye) in the past. You have any sign of eczema, infection, cuts or scabbing in the brow area. For lash tinting – if you have eye inflammation, infection, or have had laser eye surgery in the past 3 months.
If any irritation or swelling occurs, apply a cold compress and contact us for advice. Seek medical advice if any irritation or swelling persists.

LASH TINT AFTERCARE 

Please take a moment to read the aftercare advice below, it is important that you become fully aware and understand what should be done by yourself both before and after a treatment in the interest of your personal health, safety and well-being. Ensuring you read this, will also maximize and prolong the benefits of your treatment.

  • Avoid heat treatments for 24 hours

  • Avoid sunbathing for 24 hours, as this fades the tint

  • Avoid putting your contact lenses back in for the rest of the day

  • Do not apply make-up or receive any other eye treatments for at least 24 hours after your treatment.

  • Do not touch the area treated

  • Avoid swimming/sauna for 24hrs

  • Avoid perfumed products for 24hrs

  • Oil base make up remover can cause the tint to fade faster

  • Sun/UV lights can cause the tint to fade faster

  • Keep lashes dry for at least 24 to 48 hours

  • Effects will start to diminish within 4-6 weeks as hair grows out

  • Can get the treatment done again after 6 weeks

 

EYEBROW TINT AFTERCARE

  • Avoid touching/rubbing your eyes straight after the tint application.

  • No swimming/saunas/sunbeds for 24 hours

  • Oil base make up remover can cause the tint to fade faster

  • Sun/UV lights can cause the tint to fade faster

  • Avoid eye make up for 12 hours.

  • Can get the treatment done again after 2-4 weeks depending on the rate of growth of hairs

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
Typically lash and eyebrow tinting last three to four weeks, but it can vary from person to person. Some clients see the tint start to fade after two to three weeks. You can help extend your dye job by keeping brows and lashes moisturized.
* WE RECOMMEND: arriving with clean lashes before a Lash Tint service
  • mascara can be difficult to remove and takes up too much of the appointment time, not allowing for a full processing time.
  • to insure mascara was fully removed so the tint can penetrate evenly
* we will not insure the work provided if mascara was not removed prior to the appointment. Meaning if you feel the the tint did not last, or was uneven we will not refund or re-do the service at no charge.
